Families covered: Morley of Glynde, Morley of Morley (Lancashire)
[The original Morley03 was renamed Morley04 on 23.10.13.]

Berry shows the arms of the following family as "Sa. three leopard's faces or, jesant a fleur-de-lis ar." which suggests that it was not connected to the early Lords Morley shown on Morley01 (but may be to the later family of Suffolk/Sussex shown in the lower section of that page). BLG1886 ('Morley of Marrick Place'), which covers later Morleys of Wennington, starts with the same 2 generations as our Main Sources for this section.

  ## Berry & MGH identify Robert's wife as Mary Cawood and show her as mother of Thomas, Elizabeth, Dorothy & Jane. Visitation also identifies the mother of Thomas as Mary Cawood. CTG (vol 3, 1836, p2) shows Alice Warham as married to 1st Joihn Barret then Robert Morley and implies that she was mother, by Robert, of Thomas & Jane as well as mother, by John Barret, of Jane who married Robert's son Thomas. It is unlikely that Thomas married his half-sister so we presume that Alice Warham was Robert's 2nd wife.
