Roger FitzRichard of Warkworth (a temp Henry II who r. 1154-1189)
BE1883 & Commoners report that Roger was son of Richard FitzEustace. However TCP (Vescy) contains a note that reports: "That Richard FitzEustace was the father of Roger FitzRichard, lord of Warkworth, 2nd husband of Alice de Vere, was proved to be a fallacy by Round in Essex Arch. Soc, Trans., N.S., vol. iii, p.248." Thanks to JH (07.09.07) for bringing this to our attention.

Visitation (Cheshire, 1580, Barons of Halton) suggests that Robert was brother of John de Lacy, 1st Earl of Lincoln. We ignore that as it is just a variation of the idea that his father was son of Richard FitzEustace who was great-grandfather of that John.
