Uchtred Knox of Ranfurlie
m. Isabel Cunningham (dau of William Cuninghame, 2nd of Craigends)
BIFR1976 reports that Uchtred's heir to Ranfurlie was John, father of Uchtred, father of John, whose son Uchtred dsp and was the last of this line of Knox of Ranfurly. MacFarlane's Genealogical Collection (vol 2) provides the following descent.

A. Uchtred Knox of Ranfurlie
  m. Elizabeth Blair (dau of John Blair of that ilk)

MacFarlane's names Uchtred's wife as Joan but she is called Elizabeth in Crawfurd's Renfrewshire. MacFarlane reports Uchtred as having two daughters, one named Helen, whilst Crawfurd says he left one daughter, Elizabeth. Paterson's Ayr suggests that John Cuninghame was called Helen.
