James Gordon (of Methlic)
It is not certain that James actually was 'of Methlic' but he, the third son of John of Scudargue, is reported (by TSP) to be the ancestor of this line. The first known to have been 'of Methlic' was Patrick who follows. The dates indicate that Patrick was probably James's son but this has not been proved.
