Commoners identifies Margaret as dau of David Voeil of Hanmer, "son of David, one of the sons of Sir John Hopton, or Upton, of Bettisfield, in Hanmer, lineal male ancestor of the Hanmers, of Hanmer, now represented by Sir John Hanmer, bart." (the 3rd Bart, see here). However, Siddons identifies her as Mared, dau of David Voel ap Philip Hanmer. On Hanmer1 there is a Margaret dau of Sir David son of Philip son of Sir John but, as she was the wife of the famous Owen Glendwr (1359-1416), that was probably not David's wife.
