Families covered: Davy of Little Fransham, Davy of Stanfield

Carthew (p283) reports that "The family of Davy of Stanfield was quitre distinct from that (reported on Davy04) and bore different arms; but from an intermarriage between the two families, and each holding lands as well as residing in both parishes, it has been difficult to keep the lines distinct." Carthew (p397) identifies the arms of the following family as "Sable, on a fess argent between three dragons' heads erased or as many cinquefoils of the field".
