| (1) Some of the following upper section was first uploaded on 02.06.24 as a section of a temporary page (Tmp31). It was reviewed & expanded on 10.06.24 (using 'Wilts' (p36/321) & HoP) and was copied to this page on that date with it being intended that that section on Tmp31 would be deleted once all cross-references from other pages had been updated and that this page would then be launched as a new page. HOWEVER, looking at the page prior to the addition of the lower section, it appears that this page was accidentally uploaded into the database before all cross-references to it had been updated and prior to deletion of that section within Tmp31. Futhermore, it appears that the page was recorded on the DD subindex page but that that record was incomplete. The position was rectified on 11.01.26. We apologise for any confusion caused. HoP ("John Davies") reports that they had 2 sons, one (d infant) whilst the other dvp with no indication that he had married or had children, Lucy being identified as their heir. 'The Genealogist' names Lucy plus one son, Thomas (or James), who died quite young. A Munro source suggests that they had another son, Sir John who had a daughter Mary who married a Munro (## see here ##), but that was probably an error.
