That is supported by 'History of the County of Ayr' (James Paterson, vol 1, 1847, p279+). Provisionally, we follow BLG1886, which follows Lodge, shows Robert father of Robert father of Robert father of Adam. We used to show that but on 06.05.20, following a review using Paterson, decided to follow GH which shows as follows.
