It is arguable that the following should have been left in the temporary page where part of it was first placed on 28.10.13. However, the report by VCH (Hertfordshire, vol 3, 'Parishes: Therfield'), which follows the manor of Hoddenhoo, that the arms of Freeman of Aspenden was "Azure three lozenges argent", and the confusion reported above as to who was the Lord Mayor of London, suggests that the following family may have been quite closely connected to the one shown above. | |||||||||||||||
