  A. Henry Sandys of The Vyne (dvm 06.04.1644, 3rd son)
TCP suggests that, according to modern doctrine, Henry's mother Elizabeth should be titled (5th) Baroness Sandys which, as Henry died before her, makes his heir the 6th Lord. BE1883 does not call Elizabeth the 5th Baroness but reports that Henry became the 5th Baron himself (but notes that, because of the civil war, he was never summoned to parliament). They agree in numbering his successor William as the 6th Lord although TCP indicates that William's title might be considered to have been a new creation.
