Robertson reports that James had a daughter but does not name her. The wife of the following Niall is identified as "Agnes, dau of James Hall of Fulbar, Provost of Dunbarton". Robertson identifies James's brother William as such a Provost but not James. Provisionally we show Agnes' as James's daughter but she may have been William's.
