The following comes from 'The Pedigree Register' (edited by George Sherwood, vol 1, No. 8 (March 1909), 'Cameron', p220). Shown as a son of Thomas Cameron (sic, son of Rev. John son of Donald eldest son of Ewen the Chief, this being a recognised pedigree albeit one that we do not follow) by Margaret, dau of Robert Boyd of Portencross by Margaret Montomgery) was the following Thomas. As we show his attributed son John above, we are not convinced that there was any such Thomas!
