This appears to be the John Buntine who is the second mentioned by Paterson, the first being the above John who married Henwis Knox of the family of Ranfurlie. Paterson identifies John's wife as Ann Sempill, dau of the Laird of Fulwood. BLG1952 reports that John married Jean Semple and had William.
