  Visitation starts with this Thomas other than to identify him as son of a Bacon of Hessett by _ Rowse. That suggests that he should fit into the section above. [The ancestry given was originally found on a rootsweb page (here) which had kindly been brought to our attention by a contributor (DS, 27.10.06). However, that page is no longer being maintained altthough it did lead us to this page within FabPedigree.com.] We shall review this further in due course.

Thought to have been descended from Sir Nicholas Bacon (1540-1624), possibly illegitimately, was the following William. His son Anthony is thought to have become one of the the wealthiest men in the country.
