PCBG note on The 2017 Review
This was the last of my 2017 reviews of Alexander Mackenzie's impressive works on various Highland & Island families. This one was on his book entitled 'History of the Frasers of Lovat with Genealogies of the Principal Families of the Name to which is added those of Dunballoch and Phopachy', published in 1896, which is referred to in the database as 'History of the Frasers'. I had already done quite a bit of work on the Frasers before the Review, the previous last new page (Fraser08) being released on 12.11.10. The Review led to the expansion and some restructuring of the existing pages, the main consequences of which (apart from the creation of new pages) being the renumbering of the old Fraser06 as Fraser09 and the movement of part of Fraser02 into the new Fraser06. 8 new pages were added consequent to the Review: the new Fraser06 plus Fraser10 to Fraser16 inclusive.
