| BLG1952 starts its article on the family with: "This family was resident at Nunhide in the 16th century and the manor was purchased by Thomas Wilder in 1632. The immediate progenitor of the present proprietor was Henry Wilder, of Nunhide, only son and heir of John Wilder, of Nunhide". It is noted that BLG1952 does not state that John was son of Thomas. Many of the generational connections reported in the family web site refer to wills and other documents but this connection appears not to so it is possible that this connection is a little presumptuous. | |||||||||||||||
