B. Sir Thomas Tirrell of Heron
  m. Constance Blount (dau of John Blount, 3rd Lord Mountjoy)
Originally we followed our Main sources for this page in showing Sir Thomas (d 1568-9) as the eldest son of Sir Thomas & Catherine but a contributor (CV, 30.11.09) kindly drew our attention to a report on a will which suggests that Sir Thomas was a younger son with the eldest son being ...
  i. John Tirrell of Heron (dsp?)

Sir Henry is shown by Visitation (1558) as younger brother of Sir Thomas who married Constance Blount rather than his 2nd son. We follow BEB1844 and Visitation (1612) in showing him as of this generation.
