| The two families shown on this page have very different coats of arms so there is a strong likelihood that they are not connected. They share the page for our convenience. The first family was in Kent in the 14th century before moving to Devon. This is of interest not least because on Rowe01 we show a family that was in Kent and had a coat of arms which looks the same as this one's which Vivian identifies as "Arg., on a chevron Az, between three trefoils, slipt perpale Gu. and vert counterchanged, three bezants". | |||||||||||||||
