Wikipedia identifies William as heir to Sir William of Grange so we presume that he was 'of Grange'. BEB1841 reports that "In requittal for all these brilliant services (by Sir William) to the house of Stuart, King Charles II conferred in 1604, a baronetcy" on Sir John Kirkaldy of Grange, without identifying his relationship to Sir William. TCB (vol 3, 'Kirkaldy of Grange', p345) just identifies Sir John as "presumably a relative of the well known Sir William". We speculate that John fits here.
