Chauncy (p337) suggests that the name of the following family was shown as Bellers as well as Billers, being originally from Kerby Bellers in Leicestershire. Wikipedia ("William Billiers") supports the view that the family "originated from Kirby Bellars".
George Billers of Burstall, Leicestershire
m. _ Presgrave of Leicestershire
1. Henry Billers
A. George Billers
2. Julius Billers of Leicester (3rd son)
  A. William Billers

  a. Sir William Billers of Thorley, Sheriff then Lord Mayor of London (b 1689, d 15.10.1745)
Chauncy does not follow this line further, identifying a William as the eldest son. VCH (Hertfordshire, vol 3, 'Parishes: Thorley') refers to the acquisition of Thorley Manor by William's father John and reports that William sold it in 1714. This appears to be the following Sir William, details of whom come from Nichols & Clutterbuck with some support from Wikipedia ("William Billiers").
