Visitation spells the family name throughout as "Neele". Cross-references to the family normally, albeit not always, use "Neale". Visitation identifies the arms of this family as "Quarterly:- Gules, three greyhounds' heads erased argent, collared or; and or, a lion rampant double queuée vert" but does not make it clear which of the quarters was of this family or with which other family the arms were quartered. Either way, this indicates that there was no known connection with the family shown above.
