  B. William Marwood this line followed by BLG1952
Vivian's pedigree of the Holbeame family reports that William's mother was "aged 74 and more 9 Ap. 1567". BLG1952 reports that William was Sheriff of Devon in the time of Henry VII (who r. 1485-1509) and that "according to the Prince MS, in the Phillipps' Library", he was father of the following Thomas who lived to be 105. We are concerned that there must have been either some confusion between different Williams and/or Thomases or some confusion with the dates as Elizabeth Holbeame would have been aged only 19 in the year reported for the birth of her grandson Thomas. However, there is a concern that Elizabeth's birth date was wrongly stated in the Holbeame records.
